Max Verstappen, wereldkampioen in de Formule 1, heeft tijdens de zeventiende race van het seizoen opnieuw een overwinning behaald tijdens de Grand Prix van Qatar, zijn veertiende triomf. De Nederlandse coureur, die uitkomt voor het Red Bull-team, zette zijn zegereeks voort op het circuit van Losail, waar hij de dag ervoor de kwalificatie domineerde en zaterdag in de sprintrace zijn derde kampioenstitel veiligstelde. Hij werd op het podium vergezeld door McLaren-coureurs.
