PARKING

Parking is relatively easy at Silverstone, but it's a good idea to get there early. Importantly, you must book parking in advance. It can't be purchased on-site and if you don’t purchase online you'll have to use one of the unofficial areas, where you'll pay a higher price or risk a fine.

Parking is divided into two zones:

• PARKING 1 is within walking distance; you should reach the circuit in 20 minutes. PARKING 2 is served by shuttle buses. The zones vary in price, with prices starting at £20 per day parking.
• If you choose PARKING 2, you must indicate the direction of arrival from the M40 or M1 motorway. You will be allocated a space;this setting cannot be changed later.
• Motorcycles can park free of charge.

Park and Ride

The park-and-ride service is a wonderful option to save money. Two locations near the M1 and M40 (previously Hedges Airfield and Sixfields Stadium) are used for park-and-ride services. Regular free shuttle buses are available to transport fans to and from the circuit each day. The exact locations for this year's park and ride services have yet to be confirmed. Shuttles will start at 06:00 on Friday and Saturday, and at 05:00 on Sunday. The last bus from the circuit back to the car park leaves at 22:45 on Friday and Saturday, and at 21:00 on Sunday.
