Max Verstappen verzamelt zijn Formule 1-zeges als kralen aan een ketting. De laatste toevoeging aan zijn verzameling overwinningen behaalde hij tijdens de Grand Prix van Mexico, waarmee hij de eerste coureur in de geschiedenis werd die zestien overwinningen boekte in één seizoen. Zijn totaal aantal overwinningen staat nu op 51, waarmee hij op de vierde plaats staat in de historische statistieken, op gelijke hoogte met de Franse legende Alain Prost.
