After finishing runner-up in 2022, Charles Leclerc had a more difficult campaign in 2023. Ferrari struggled with tyre management throughout the season, and although the Monegasque driver secured several pole positions, he was unable to convert any into victories—unlike his teammate Carlos Sainz, who claimed the team’s only win. Leclerc ended the year fifth in the drivers' standings and was eager to bounce back.
In 2024, Leclerc showed improved consistency and speed, finishing third overall in the championship. The highlight of his season came at the Monaco Grand Prix, where he finally claimed a long-awaited and emotional home victory—one of the most significant moments of his career so far.
